Frankfurt’s former Villa Kennedy reopens as The Florentin Frankfurt under the Althoff Collection, promising to attract business leaders, discerning leisure travellers, and luxury seekers alike.
On 1 December 2025, Frankfurt welcomed the opening of The Florentin Frankfurt, a complete reimagining of the city’s much-loved Villa Kennedy. Closed in 2022, the property has undergone a full renovation and now joins the Althoff Collection, a boutique German hotel group known for its refined portfolio. The hotel is also part of Leading Hotels of the World, giving it international visibility.
Situated in Frankfurt’s leafy Sachsenhausen district, just minutes from the city centre and financial hub, The Florentin offers a tranquil courtyard retreat while remaining close to the action. Its positioning makes it ideal for both corporate travellers attending conventions and leisure guests seeking a stylish base to explore the city.
