Treehouse Hotel Manchester has announced a significant expansion that elevates the playful, design‑driven brand into a full urban resort, adding new rooftop restaurants and bars, premium suites, wellness experiences and social spaces across its upper floors.
The development follows the hotel’s headline‑making debut in March 2025 and marks a new chapter for one of Manchester’s most talked‑about openings.
The expansion introduces a trio of sky‑high food and drink destinations: Sister Moon, a fire‑led restaurant from Chef Sam Grainger in collaboration with Luke Cowdrey and Justin Crawford; The Nest, a dramatic cocktail bar with panoramic views; and The Hideout, an intimate speakeasy‑style lounge perched above the city . Sister Moon’s menu blends British ingredients with Southeast Asian influences, smoky barbecue techniques and open‑fire cooking, with standout dishes including red prawn toast, BBQ octopus massaman and Singapore chilli crab.
Nine new premium suites have also been added across the 11th and 12th floors, offering spacious, residential‑style hideaways designed for families, groups and longer stays. These suites feature layered textiles, reclaimed woods, kitchenettes, oversized living areas and sweeping skyline views, with some able to interconnect for larger private retreats.
Beyond the rooftop, the hotel has expanded its wellness and recreation offering with The Pollen Club’s covered padel courts, designed for all‑weather play, and The Good Sauna Co.’s wood‑fired outdoor sauna, complete with cold plunge and campfire area for Nordic‑style hot‑and‑cold bathing rituals.
Treehouse Manchester continues to serve as a cultural hub for locals and guests, with Pip — the all‑day lounge from Chef Mary‑Ellen McTague — hosting creative programming, workshops and coworking sessions . The hotel’s 43‑seat cinema, Flix, offers film screenings and special events, while flexible meeting and event spaces accommodate gatherings of up to 400 people.
