This year for the first season, Villa Sola Cabiati invites guests to experience the exquisite year-round allure of Lake Como like never before.

As Grand Hotel Tremezzo closes its shutters for the summer season on November 3rd (reopening March 20th, 2025), it’s neighbouring sister Villa Sola Cabiati residing on the edge of Lake Como offers unparalleled excellence 365 days a year.

Once the opulent summer retreat of the Serbelloni family, the private six-bedroom villa now offers a timeless escape, decadent in its romantic 16th century architecture, sprawling manicured gardens and irresistible wellness facilities, perfect for families, groups and couples seeking a restorative retreat avoiding the bustle of peak season crowds.

A Sense of Discovery – Sense of Lake

Award-winning hotelier, Valentina de Santis and her mother Antonella have combined their creative know-how and eye for detail to curate a stylish edit of luxury accessories, designer clothing and homewares, inspired by these two iconic Italian properties.

Each piece in the Sense of Lake collection is carefully selected by hand, working predominantly with Italian designers – such as Le Niné, Bric’s, Aqua Como and For Restless Sleepers, the bespoke collection celebrates the very best in Italian craftsmanship and tradition.

This winter, Sense of Lake will debut the boutique’s first jewellery collection, Calypso in partnership with Villa Milano. Founded in Milan in 1876 and five-generations of jewellery craftsman, Villa Milano have created the bespoke Calypso capsule collection exclusively for Grand Hotel Tremezzo and Villa Sola Cabiati boutique. Unique natural shell pendants and cufflinks fixed on gold plates are embellished with stones (emerald, sapphire and ruby), with each piece featuring a plaque bearing a personalised engraving with the hotels’ logo – creating memorable mementos to cherish forever.
