Vueling, the renowned low-cost carrier, is making a triumphant return to London Heathrow airport with the introduction of two eagerly anticipated routes to Barcelona El Prat and Paris Orly, set to commence on April 7th.
Londoners and visitors alike will be delighted to hear that Vueling’s service to Paris Orly represents the sole flight connecting Heathrow directly to this bustling hub. With the eagerly awaited Paris Olympics looming on the horizon this summer, Vueling’s offering comes as a boon to those planning their travel arrangements. The flights are scheduled to operate once daily, ensuring convenience and flexibility for travelers.
But that’s not all! Vueling is also ramping up its connectivity to the vibrant city of Barcelona by introducing two flights per day from Heathrow to Barcelona El Prat. This addition complements its existing robust schedule of eight daily flights from London Gatwick. With this expansion, Vueling will now boast an impressive total of ten flights per day between London and Barcelona, providing passengers with even more options to jet off to this Mediterranean gem.
For those eager to secure their seats, flights are already available for booking and will be departing from Heathrow’s Terminal 4. The collaboration between Vueling and British Airways, both part of the International Airlines Group (IAG), has facilitated this launch. By securing slots from its sister carrier BA, Vueling has been able to realize its vision of reintroducing these highly sought-after routes.
Carolyn Prowse, Vueling’s chief commercial, customer, network, and strategy officer, expressed her enthusiasm for the launch, stating that it “has been possible thanks to [the carrier’s] strong collaboration with British Airways.” This collaborative effort underscores the commitment of both airlines to providing travelers with exceptional service and unparalleled connectivity.
