Boutique aparthotel brand Wilde is set to expand its European presence with two significant openings, a newly launched property in Porto and a forthcoming flagship in Amsterdam.

The move strengthens Wilde’s position in the design‑led extended‑stay market, bringing its signature blend of creative interiors and apartment‑style living to two of Europe’s most culturally vibrant cities.

The brand’s latest opening, Wilde Porto, has now welcomed guests to its new home between Rue De la Galeria de Paris and Praça Guilherme Gomes, offering 78 contemporary studios and apartments designed for two to four guests in the heart of the city’s dining, music and nightlife district . Set within a row of elegant townhouses, the property is surrounded by historic façades, cafés, bakeries and cocktail bars, with independent boutiques and art galleries just steps away .

Interiors by Stephanie Barba Mendoza draw on Porto’s 14th‑century craftsmanship and maritime heritage, expressed through hand‑painted tiles, bespoke ceramics and custom furniture created by local artisans . Highlights include murals hand‑painted on tiles by New Terracotta, a statement lacquer table with studded detailing, and bespoke wallpaper by British artist Anna Glover, all contributing to a tactile, contemporary aesthetic .

The property’s dining offering spans three venues: Oscar’s, a warm, tile‑accented dining space; O’s Above, a rooftop bar overlooking Porto’s skyline; and O’s Below, a street‑level café that transitions into a late‑night bar .

In Amsterdam, Wilde will open a major new aparthotel in September 2026, marking its first property designed specifically as a true extended‑stay destination. Rising eight floors within the new Yvie residential development in Amsterdam Noord, the hotel will feature 120 spacious studios and apartments overlooking the IJ River . Interiors again by Barba Mendoza reflect the district’s creative, post‑industrial character, with refined finishes in leather, timber, marble lacquer and brass, alongside custom furniture and a hand‑painted mural by Dutch artist Lisette van Hoogenhuyze in the lobby .

Kelly Morgan, Managing Director at Wilde, said the brand chose Amsterdam and Porto for their “deeply rooted creative and cultural characters,” aligning with Wilde’s ethos of delivering apartment‑style flexibility paired with boutique‑hotel design and service .

With these two openings, Wilde continues to grow its European portfolio, offering travellers design‑driven spaces that feel both elevated and homely — and firmly embedded in the cultural fabric of their neighbourhoods.
