Wizz Air has unveiled a new subscription plan in the UK, the MultiPass, which allows customers to lock in the price of flights and ancillary charges for a 12-month period.
This initiative, described as “Europe’s first flight subscription plan,” was initially established in Italy and Poland and has now been extended to Albania, the UK, and the UAE.
Subscription Details
The MultiPass subscription offers various plans starting from £59.99 one way, providing subscribers the opportunity to fly once a month on international routes to and from the UK. The subscription aims to mitigate fare changes typically encountered when booking last-minute or during peak seasons.
Subscribers can choose from several tiers:
Flight Only Pass: £59.99 one way or £119.99 return
Flight Plus Wizz Priority Benefits Pass: £92.99 one way or £185.99 return
Flights Plus 20kg Checked Luggage: £102.99 one way or £205.99 return
Flights Plus Priority and Checked Luggage: £135.99 one way or £271.99 return
Booking and Subscription Terms
Subscribers can make their first booking immediately after taking out a subscription, with flights scheduled at least five days later. Alternatively, they can start the subscription the following month, allowing them to book flights from the sixth day of the month and during the subsequent 29, 30, or 31 days, depending on the month.
The subscription plan is locked in for 12 months and cannot be cancelled once a customer signs up, except for the initial 14-day cooling-off period. Notably, MultiPass flights cannot be modified once booked.
