Disneyland Paris has announced that World of Frozen — a major new land inspired by the blockbuster franchise — will officially open on 29 March 2026, marking one of the most significant expansions in the resort’s history.

The new area will sit within the reimagined Disney Adventure World, part of a wider €2 billion transformation that will almost double the size of Walt Disney Studios Park.

Guests will be transported into the Kingdom of Arendelle with an immersive land built to cinematic scale. The centrepiece is North Mountain, a 118-foot (36m) snow-capped peak topped with Elsa’s Ice Palace, featuring shimmering crystalline architecture.

Nearby, Arendelle Village recreates the charm of the Nordic-inspired kingdom with timber façades, floral motifs and a snowflake-shaped fountain anchoring the bustling town square.

The headline attraction, Frozen Ever After, will take guests on a family-friendly boat journey beneath Arendelle’s Clock Tower, using next-generation Audio-Animatronics and advanced projection effects to bring Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf to life.

Fans will be able to meet Anna and Elsa at the Royal Encounter inside Arendelle Castle, while “A Celebration in Arendelle” — a 15-minute musical show performed aboard Viking longships — will feature beloved songs such as Let It Go and Show Yourself. Imagineers have also developed a groundbreaking interactive robotic Olaf, designed to engage directly with guests.

Dining and shopping inspired by Arendelle

The land will also introduce new dining and retail options:
• Nordic Crowns Tavern, serving customisable Nordic-inspired dishes, including grilled salmon and Scandinavian-style meatballs.
• Arendelle Boutique and Fjord View Shop, offering exclusive merchandise, hand-crafted Scandinavian goods, and an interactive baby troll toy named Rúna that responds to touch.

A wider transformation of Disney Adventure World

World of Frozen forms a major part of the resort’s overhaul. Other key developments include:
• Worlds of Pixar — home to attractions based on Toy Story, Cars, Finding Nemo and Ratatouille
• Marvel Avengers Campus — with attractions and live-action performances featuring Spider-Man, Iron Man and the Avengers
• Adventure Bay — a new 7.5-acre lake anchoring a night-time spectacular
• Adventure Way — a sweeping new entrance avenue featuring 14 dining locations, landscaped gardens and the forthcoming Raiponce Tangled Spin attraction

The opening of World of Frozen is expected to be one of Disneyland Paris’ biggest draws in 2026, reinforcing the park’s position as Europe’s leading tourist destination.
