ZIPAIR Tokyo announced that the carrier will expand its transpacific network with service between Tokyo Narita and Houston`s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), starting March 4, 2025.
Located in the southern United States, Texas is the second largest state in the U.S. in terms of both population and economic size, and is home to numerous energy, IT and other industry’s’ companies. More than 50 of the Fortune 500 companies are headquartered, and in recent years, the state has become more business-friendly in terms of tax and cost, and major companies have been relocating to Texas. As a result of this trend, the population of the state is growing at the highest rate in the U.S.
The George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas, where ZIPAIR will newly operate its service, offers easy access to the city. Regarding airline network, with an extensive network of domestic flights within the U.S. and to Central and South America, connections to domestic and international destinations are very convenient.
The service from Houston will become the carrier`s fifth route across the Pacific, following Los Angeles, San Francisco, San José, and Vancouver. Reservations and ticket sales will begin today at 12:00 Japan Standard Time.
