Cameron House, the iconic five-star resort on the banks of Loch Lomond, has unveiled a £300,000 transformation of its award-winning Cameron Spa, reinforcing its status as one of Scotland’s premier luxury wellness destinations.
The investment has refreshed a number of the spa’s most popular facilities, including a full refurbishment of the ground-floor indoor pool and upgrades across the hydro and hot tub areas. Guests visiting the changing facilities on both levels will also discover new showers, premium accessories and modern lockers with an upgraded locking system.
A new look for Loch Lomond’s wellness landmark
One of the highlights of the redesign is the hydro area, where LED-lit sensory showers and a new wall-mounted light box feature have been added for a more immersive experience. Meanwhile, the spa’s famous rooftop infinity pool – which offers panoramic views over Loch Lomond and The Carrick Championship golf course – has been refreshed to ensure it remains one of Scotland’s most Instagrammable spa spots.
The interiors have been given a contemporary yet organic feel, with ceramic and marble feature walls, graphite and green mosaic tiling, and floor-to-ceiling windows framing the rolling landscapes beyond.
The Café Spa has also extended its hours (now open 9am–5pm) and introduced a new menu to complement the all-day wellness experience, while nearby The Clubhouse offers hearty favourites for those looking to round out a day of relaxation with a comforting meal.
New Spa Director appointed
Coinciding with the relaunch, Cameron House has appointed Gillian McGraffin as its new Spa Director. With over 25 years in luxury spa and leisure management, Gillian brings experience from leading properties including Grantley Hall, Cowley Manor, and The Grand Hotel Brighton.
She is widely respected for her ability to launch and scale five-star spa experiences, and at Cameron House she will oversee innovation, guest experience, and team development.
Speaking of her appointment, Gillian said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Cameron House at such an exciting time. The transformation gives us an incredible platform to build on the exceptional service the team already delivers, and I’m looking forward to working with such talented colleagues to create memorable experiences for every guest.”
Scotland’s leading wellness escape
Nestled beside the golf course and Loch Lomond itself, the Cameron Spa already offers a comprehensive suite of facilities including a hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam room, and multiple relaxation areas. Guests can also book from a curated menu of massages, facials, and advanced body treatments delivered by expert therapists.
The investment signals the resort’s confidence in the continued growth of luxury wellness travel in Scotland, where high-quality spa experiences are increasingly sought by both domestic and international visitors.
From its signature infinity pool to its expanded wellness dining and treatment programme, Cameron Spa’s refresh aims to cement its reputation as one of the most distinctive spa destinations in the UK.
