In 1987, founders Ernesto Coppel and Mark Kronemeyer opened the first Pueblo Bonito resort in Mazatlán which became one of the most desirable hotels due to its blend of modern luxury and old-world charm.  Pueblo Bonito Rosé is located on El Médano beach, one of the most pristine stretches in Baja California and within walking distance to the Marina and Harbour, its distinctive rosé-tinted walls, gleaming domes, marble busts, and a colossus statue of Neptune, all add to the theme of this Greco-Roman full service resort, creating a blended unique ambiance with Mexican architecture.

With open hallways and spacious courtyards all adorned with statues and plenty of concrete benches to take a time out together with the high pink walls trimmed in white gives the resort a distinct appearance.  Whether you are relaxing by the pooling, taking an early evening stroll through the lush grounds, relaxing with a treatment or two in the spa treatment or just lying on the beach watching the waves and whales, the décor oozes elegance and tranquillity.

With direct access to a private beach, fenced off from the public beach, you can still soak up the atmosphere, watching the locals peddling their wares and the cruise ships docking.

The hotel has 8 restaurants, a deli and convenience store.  With so many dining options ranging from the elegant to the ultracasual offering a fantastic variety from Italian delicacies, fresh seafood, sushi or a beachfront meal it is hard not to find something to delight every guest.

Amenities include a free form swimming pool, children’s swimming pool, state of the art fitness centre, spa and tennis courts.  The resort also has a schedule of activities from sports to language lessons.

The rooms or suites are all beautiful ocean or garden views and feature a fully equipped kitchenette, elegant furniture, plush bedding, large bathroom and modern Mexican décor in muted tones of beige, whites and reds creating a warm and inviting ambiance.

Pueblo Bonito Rosé Resort & Spa offers a delightful blend of luxury, history, and relaxation.  The staff are amazing and everywhere is so clean.  As with many hotels in this area the rooms are also let out on time shares (which is not a negative) but just beware when booking if you want peace and quiet don’t visit during spring break!
