With an impressive portfolio of properties, Supercity Aparthotels has its feet firmly under the table as the perfect choice of accommodation for business travellers.
Supercity Aparthotels is profiting from a unique and still relatively new concept, offering luxurious and affordable stays to business travellers in London.Unlike traditional hotels, Supercity Aparthotels offers a cost effective alternative for business travellers, priding itself on the added benefits of flexibility, space and second-to-none service. With competitive rates available for both short and long-term stays, Supercity Aparthotels sees repeat visits from business travellers, which enables the staff to truly understand the needs of each guest.
Supercity Aparthotels currently offer Victorian townhouses Templeton Place and Nevern Place in Earl’s Court, as well as The Rosebery, a restored 19th-century building in Clerkenwell.
If you haven’t stayed in a serviced apartment before, the Rosebery would be enough to show that your missing out.
In the heart of Clerkenwell the one bedroom apartment that I stayed in was light, airy and fitted with every gadget that you could possibly need. Though more importantly it was comfortable and felt like a home away from home even in the heart of the city.
Everything in the apartment was high spec from the toiletries, fluffy towels to entertainment centre and coffee maker (which was greatly appreciated in the morning).
Overall I would highly recommend the Rosebery to anyone staying in the city. It matches any hotel in terms of facilities, comfort and service however, the space available to guests can’t be matched at that price point by hotels in the city.
More about the Supercity Aparthotels
While all the Supercity Aparthotels are equipped with the amenities you’d expect, each has its own unique look and feel. The Studio suites, one-bedroom suites and larger two bedroom suites combine the warmth of home with carefully curated modern artwork and bespoke furnishings, offering a luxurious living space that provides the perfect respite after a busy day at work.
As part of its 2015 growth plans, Supercity Aparthotels has also announced its acquisition of two new properties to add to its portfolio. The exciting new ventures cement the success of the group, with occupancy and turnover growing year-on-year, in line with its vision to stay ahead of the curve in the serviced apartment sector.
In the heart of the capital, Supercity Aparthotels has applied for planning permission to transform the former site of the Jewish Chronicle newspaper into approximately 50 luxury suites. With the aparthotel on the upper floors, the building will also house a gym, serviced offices and the existing pub located on the ground floor. Supercity Aparthotels hopes to open the luxury suites in 2016, when they will be well placed to serve financial businesses and the legal industry in the City.
The second property in Watford town centre is scheduled to open as Extended Stay Serviced Apartments in Autumn 2015. With only 20 minutes journey time into London Euston on the main line railway, its 19 studios and 22 one-bedroom suites will provide guests with a comfortable and spacious apartment.
Commenting on the acquisitions, Alexis Burton, Supercity Aparthotels MD, said: “These new acquisitions are testament to the success and hard work of the Supercity Aparthotels team. With growing understanding and demand for aparthotels amongst business travellers and tourists alike, we’re delighted to be growing and complimenting our existing portfolio in and around London.
