Niseko Village is gearing up for a landmark winter with two major launches set to redefine the 2026/27 ski season.
The resort will reopen for its White Season on 28 November 2026 , debuting the brand‑new Moxy Niseko Village hotel and a next‑generation gondola system featuring the destination’s first‑ever glass‑floor cabins.
The new Moxy Niseko Village brings 310 guestrooms of bold, playful design to the base of the mountain. Positioned ski‑in/ski‑out and directly beside the Niseko Village Gondola, the hotel blends Moxy’s signature social energy with Japanese craft‑inspired interiors. Guests can expect three dining and social venues, a 24/7 fitness centre and even an outdoor foot onsen for post‑ski relaxation. Nightly rates start from £72 for a Loft Room.
Winter 2026 will also see the launch of the new Mori‑no Gondola, a next‑generation system designed to improve all‑weather access across the mountain. The upgrade doubles transportation capacity with 86 cabins, including four VIP cabins equipped with tables for light dining and two glass‑floor cabins offering dramatic aerial views over Niseko’s snow‑covered terrain.
The developments join Niseko Village’s already diverse offering, from Niseko‑yo, a dining precinct for food lovers, to a Kids’ Club for children aged 1.5 to 9 years . The resort’s wider accommodation portfolio includes Hinode Hills’ wabi‑sabi apartments and the ski‑in/ski‑out hubs of Hilton Niseko Village, rounding out one of Japan’s most complete alpine destinations for the season ahead.
