The new lifestyle collection opens with Estella at La Pirogue: all the privacy of a home of one’s own, with two resorts attached.

Sunlife has launched Estella by Sunlife, a new lifestyle hospitality collection built on a simple idea: that a holiday should fit around the guest, rather than the other way round.

Because somewhere along the line, holidays picked up a timetable: breakfast stops at ten, the best sunbeds go by seven, and dinner is at eight, at the same table, again. Estella has looked at all of that and chosen a different approach.

Everything is available. Nothing is imposed.

Across a collection of penthouses and apartments, guests get the independence of a private home and the run of a Sunlife resort, and they decide, daily, how much of each they fancy.

Guests can go fully self-catering, take the full hotel treatment, or create their own version somewhere in between. They might want to cook dinner, or have the fridge filled before the plane lands; hand the kitchen over to a private chef; or leave the apartment entirely and let the resort take care of everything, from restaurants and bars to wellness, beaches, pools, sport, activities and entertainment.

No fixed routine, and no “sorry, that finished at ten” – just choice.

A home with a resort attached

At the heart of Estella by Sunlife sits a simple thought: hospitality should adapt to the guest, not the other way round.

Every Estella home is built for actual living, with proper room to sleep, eat, unwind and be together, kitchens that genuinely work, and private outdoor space that belongs to the guest and nobody else. And whenever guests fancy a change of pace, the resort is just steps away.

One day can be complete privacy, no shoes and something on the hob; the next can be spa, sundowners and somebody else doing the washing-up. Both are equally valid.

  • A home when privacy matters.
  • A resort when the experiences call.
  • And everything in between.

Ultra-personalisation. Minimal effort.

Estella by Sunlife takes that freedom a step further with a dedicated digital experience that handles the admin so guests don’t have to.

Before arrival and right through the stay, using the Estella App, guests can arrange pre-arrival fridge fills, groceries, ready-to-cook dining kits, private chef experiences, picnic boxes, children’s essentials, wellness options, housekeeping preferences and concierge services, sorted in a few taps rather than a queue at reception.

The result: guests get what they want, when they want it – exactly as a holiday should work.

First up: Estella at La Pirogue

The collection opens with Estella at La Pirogue, on the west coast of Mauritius, made for guests who want the soul of the destination and the front door of a private home: spacious apartments and penthouses with separate living, dining and sleeping areas, fully equipped kitchens and private outdoor spaces.

Guests get two resorts, not one, with La Pirogue and neighbouring Sugar Beach offering restaurants and bars, beaches, swimming pools, GLOW Spa, sport, leisure activities, family experiences and entertainment, all within a gentle stroll. How much of it guests choose to use is entirely up to them, but it’s all there when they want it.

Rather more than somewhere to sleep

With Estella by Sunlife, the brand is pushing its hospitality well past the traditional resort model with a direct answer to a new generation of travellers who want more space, more flexibility and more independence, and who see no good reason to trade away comfort, service and memorable experiences to get it.

Estella by Sunlife has been designed as a scalable collection, so Estella at La Pirogue is the first, not the last. Each future destination will take its cue from its own setting while making the same promise: space, comfort, freedom, and hospitality on the guest’s terms.
