In celebration of Global Wellness Day on 14 June, Westin Hotels & Resorts – part of Marriott Bonvoy’s global portfolio of over 30 brands – is inviting guests across Asia Pacific (excluding China) to pause, reset, and reconnect with what truly matters.

Themed around this year’s #ReconnectMagenta campaign, the brand is delivering a wide range of restorative experiences that reflect its long-standing commitment to intuitive, accessible wellness.

Guided by its core Pillars of Well-being – Sleep Well, Eat Well, and Move Well – Westin is transforming its properties into havens of holistic renewal. From tranquil sound healing sessions and nature-led markets to nutrition workshops and wellness-inspired masterclasses, each activation is designed to create purposeful moments that stay with travellers long after their journey ends.

“At Westin, wellness isn’t a fleeting trend but a lasting philosophy,” said John Toomey, Chief Commercial Officer at Marriott International, Asia Pacific excluding China. “Our properties are delivering guest-centred experiences that blend intentional self-care with daily rituals to inspire lasting well-being, even while on the road.”

Wellness in action: immersive programmes across the region

At The Westin Resort & Spa Cam Ranh in Vietnam, the relaxation lounge becomes a full-sensory retreat, complete with bamboo water fountains, Westin’s White Tea scent, and sound healing activities including tuning fork yoga and Tibetan singing bowls.

In the Philippines, The Westin Manila transforms its rooftop bar Aire 32 into a sanctuary of sound, where curated meditative playlists set the tone. Guests are invited to a “Nurture and Nourish” workshop led by holistic coach Nichole Mercado, offering insights into mindful nutrition, gratitude practices, and holistic health.

The Westin Desaru Coast Resort in Malaysia leans into its coastal location with a Wellness Market that celebrates regenerative farming and local artisanship. Guests can participate in eco-tourism activities, join nature walks, and craft handmade coffee scrubs to elevate their daily self-care rituals.

India’s The Westin Mumbai Garden City hosts a multi-sensory wellness celebration, beginning with a food-focused masterclass led by wellness chefs. Guests can explore Ayurvedic spa offerings, enjoy aqua sound healing, and unwind to live flute performances that promote inner harmony.

Finally, The Westin Surabaya in Indonesia embraces full-bodied rejuvenation. Guests can explore a “bingo of senses” digital detox box, enjoy guided sensory walks, and reflect at the hotel’s “gratitude nest” – a dedicated space to cultivate positivity and presence.

Through these thoughtfully curated activations, Westin reinforces its position as a leader in wellness-focused hospitality. Whether guests are seasoned wellness travellers or just beginning their journey, each programme is designed to meet them where they are – encouraging balance, mindfulness and joyful reconnection.
