The ALMA Festival will return for its fifth edition from 17–20 September 2026, with Verdura Resort a Rocco Forte hotel on Sicily’s southwest coast  confirmed once again as host.

The announcement marks a new chapter for the wellness gathering, which has become one of the most distinctive events in the global wellbeing space, blending longevity, culture and human connection in a Mediterranean setting.

Positioned across 230 hectares of coastline, olive groves and citrus orchards, Verdura Resort provides a natural backdrop for ALMA’s slow‑living philosophy. The festival is designed as an immersive, multi‑day experience where guests move between guided sessions, open reflection time, communal dining and evening ceremonies beneath the Sicilian sky.

This year’s programme brings together an international lineup of practitioners and thought leaders, including movement expert Kim Strother, breathwork specialist Rob Rea, and longevity physician Dr Ingrid Yang, who will lead sessions exploring Sicily’s emerging Blue Zone lifestyle. The nearby region of Caltabellotta – increasingly referenced in longevity research  forms part of the festival’s excursions, offering insight into the Mediterranean principles associated with long‑term vitality.

Additional highlights include contrast therapy, yoga and Pilates, coastal hikes, Sanctum movement sessions, skin‑longevity rituals with Irene Forte, and an opening ceremony led by David Ghiyam. Evenings feature music performances and communal dining designed to foster connection among attendees.

Packages include a three‑night stay, full access to the ALMA programme and full‑board dining, with rates starting from €3,928 for single occupancy in a Seaview Resort Room.

For business travellers seeking restorative escapes or longevity‑focused retreats, ALMA continues to position Sicily as a leading destination for modern wellbeing  where movement, nourishment and community are treated not as trends, but as a way of living.
