Nobu Beach Inn Barbuda is where Nobu’s global cool meets one of the Caribbean’s most untouched islands. Set directly on the powder‑white sands of Princess Diana Beach.
A shoreline so pristine it feels almost otherworldly the resort reimagines the former K Club site as a contemporary hideaway woven into lush tropical gardens and sandy pathways. It’s the newest expression of the Nobu Hospitality vision, created in partnership with Robert De Niro and James Packer, bringing their signature Japanese‑inflected elegance to Barbuda’s raw, natural beauty.
The aesthetic is unmistakably Nobu: minimalist, warm, and quietly seductive. Pale woods, soft linens, stone textures and sculptural lines create a sense of calm that feels both elevated and effortless. The architecture leans into indoor outdoor living, with breezy open spaces and a palette drawn from the island’s sand, sea and sun. Nothing feels imposed; everything feels as though it belongs.
Accommodation is split across 17 two‑ and three‑bedroom bungalows and 25 four‑ and five‑bedroom residences, each one designed as a private sanctuary. Interiors follow Nobu’s signature language of creamy neutrals, handcrafted furniture, woven textures and Japanese simplicity. Many feature private pools, outdoor showers and expansive terraces that open directly onto the beach or gardens. Bedrooms are serene and uncluttered, while bathrooms take on a spa‑like quality with stone finishes, rainfall showers and Nobu‑branded amenities that echo the brand’s wellness ethos.
Dining is central to the experience. The Nobu Beach Club brings the brand’s iconic dishes such as black cod miso, yellowtail jalapeño, rock shrimp tempura to the shoreline, complemented by ultra‑fresh Caribbean seafood and produce from the resort’s own farm. Cocktails lean into Japanese precision and island botanicals, best enjoyed with toes in the sand and the sea just metres away.
The resort’s facilities are extensive for such an intimate setting. Guests have access to an ocean‑front pool and spa, watersports, a state‑of‑the‑art gym, tennis, padel and pickleball courts, an outdoor cinema, open‑air yoga and treatment spaces, a kids club, and the resort’s own farm all set within a landscape that still feels wild and untouched.
Beyond the resort, Barbuda remains one of the Caribbean’s last true escapes: miles of empty pink‑sand beaches, the Frigate Bird Sanctuary, hidden coves and uninhabited islets accessible only by boat. It’s a place where nature still leads.
