Starting 1 July 2024, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will elevate the in-flight and lounge experience for its World Business Class passengers with premium personal care products from Marie-Stella-Maris.
Visitors to the KLM Crown Lounge at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol will also benefit from these high-quality amenities. From 1 August, these luxurious products will be featured in newly designed comfort bags available to World Business Class passengers.
Marleen van de Pol, VP Customer Experience at KLM, expressed the airline’s commitment to enhancing travel experiences: “KLM aims to make every journey meaningful and believes in putting quality before quantity. After all, travel is not about ticking destinations off a list but about unique encounters and personal experiences.”
The new comfort bags are the result of a collaboration with Envisions, a creative design agency in Eindhoven, founded by graduates from the Design Academy Eindhoven. The designs, inspired by different moments of the day, will house the premium care products.
Passengers can look forward to indulging in hand soap, hand gel, hand lotion, and face mist from Marie-Stella-Maris in the KLM Crown Lounge and on board. The comfort bags will also include face moisturiser and lip balm. Marie-Stella-Maris, known for its high-quality products made in the Netherlands, uses at least 96% natural ingredients like shea butter, almond oil, and hazelnut oil. Additionally, the brand donates 2.5% of its sales to sustainable water projects.
From 1 August, the new Envisions comfort bags and Marie-Stella-Maris products will replace the current offerings from Rituals, marking a significant upgrade in KLM’s commitment to providing a premium travel experience.
