Hampton by Hilton Manchester City Centre has announced senior leadership appointments for the largest Hampton by Hilton property in Europe.

Slated for opening in April 2026, the brand new Hampton by Hilton Manchester City Centre will be the largest of the brand’s portfolio in both the UK and Europe.

Heading up the opening as General Manager will be Abi Hindle,  who will oversee all operational aspects of the hotel, including pre-opening team development, implementation of operational and administrative frameworks, and the delivery of exceptional guest experiences. Hindle brings with her previous experience working at Hampton by Hilton hotels, having held various positions within commercial and operations teams, including as Director of Sales and General Manager.

Tom Ansbro has been named as Group Commercial Director, having worked on both hotel sales and commercial strategy previously. Ansbro joins the project with a distinguished track record across several of Manchester’s most high-profile hotels, including Director of Sales roles at Hilton Manchester Deansgate and The Lowry Hotel.

“We’re thrilled to be launching Europe’s largest Hampton by Hilton,” say Hindle and Ansbro. “This is a really exciting development in a prime location, and we can’t wait to introduce Hampton by Hilton to the city centre.”

The team will be leading the launch of the newbuild 358-room property, which forms part of a wider project by Dean Street Developments, a UK-based property development company operating across Europe.

Hampton by Hilton Manchester City Centre will feature modern guestrooms designed for comfort and convenience, many with sweeping cityscape views. Interiors will feature subtle references to Manchester’s urban character and industrial heritage – including nods to the railway arches that the building merges with. The building’s architecture meanwhile will make a strong new addition to the city’s skyline, rising above Deansgate and visible from afar.

Its central location places guests within walking distance of Manchester Central Convention Centre, Deansgate Square, Spinningfields, Oxford Road, major transport links, and many of the city’s leading restaurants, entertainment venues, and shopping districts.

Hampton by Hilton Manchester City Centre will be home to its own bar and all-day dining restaurant, perfect for a relaxed bite before or after exploring the city, informal meetings, or casual evening drinks. In line with other Hampton by Hilton properties, all stays will include a complimentary hot breakfast, with the brand’s signature Hampton Waffle makers ready for guests to whip up their own golden malted waffles. Other amenities are set to include a 24-hour fitness centre, and a meeting and event space available for private hire.

“Manchester is a city undergoing exceptional growth, and this opening represents a major milestone for both Dean Street Developments and the wider hospitality landscape,” says Adi Hodzic, Managing Director of Dean Street Developments. “Hampton by Hilton Manchester City Centre brings a contemporary, intelligently designed product to the city centre, matching the scale and ambition of the city itself.”

Bookings for the new Hampton by Hilton Manchester City Centre are now open, with stays currently on sale from 20th April.
