Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott International’s global loyalty programme, has enhanced its partnership with Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer by improving the conversion rate of KrisFlyer miles to Marriott Bonvoy points and increasing the annual transfer cap, effective 1 April 2026.

The enhancements are offered as an ongoing, evergreen benefit, replacing previous limited-time transfer bonuses.

Key Changes

  • Improved conversion rate: 4 KrisFlyer miles = 3 Marriott Bonvoy points (Previously 2 KrisFlyer miles = 1 Marriott Bonvoy point)
  • Increased annual transfer cap: Up to 250,000 KrisFlyer miles per member, up from 180,000
  • Greater redemption potential: Members maximizing the new cap with the new conversion rate can convert up to 187,500 Marriott Bonvoy points, compared with 90,000 previously
  • Effective date: From 1 April 2026 onwards
  • Better Conversion Rates, Greater Member Value

From 1 April 2026, members converting KrisFlyer miles to Marriott Bonvoy points will receive 50% more points, with the improved conversion rate of 4 KrisFlyer miles to 3 Marriott Bonvoy points.

For example:

  • Before 1 April 2026: 10,000 KrisFlyer miles convert to 5,000 Marriott Bonvoy points
  • From 1 April 2026: 10,000 KrisFlyer miles convert to 7,500 Marriott Bonvoy points

The improved rate allows members to accumulate Marriott Bonvoy points more efficiently and redeem across a broader range of destinations worldwide, subject to date and availability.

Higher Transfer Cap Unlocks More Premium Stays

The increased annual transfer cap enables members to unlock significantly more Marriott Bonvoy points in a single calendar year.

At the maximum transfer level:

  • Before 1 April 2026: 180,000 KrisFlyer miles = 90,000 Marriott Bonvoy points
  • From 1 April 2026:250,000 KrisFlyer miles = 187,500 Marriott Bonvoy points

With the enhanced conversion rate and higher cap, members have access to a wider range of redemption opportunities across Marriott Bonvoy’s global portfolio.

Rewarding Loyalty

“The improved conversion rate and higher transfer cap directly respond to what our members are seeking, reinforcing the value of loyalty,” said Ramesh Daryanani, Managing Vice President, Global Sales, Loyalty Operations and Partnerships Marriott International, Asia Pacific excluding China. “By making these enhancements permanent, we are giving members a wider range of redemption opportunities and greater access to the world of Marriott Bonvoy.”
