Pullman Hotels & Resorts, part of Accor’s premium portfolio, has announced a sweeping brand transformation designed to position the group as one of the world’s most dynamic hospitality players.
The move follows the international debut of Pullman xChange, a new global event series fostering bold ideas and fresh perspectives among leaders, creators, and innovators.
The New Pullman Experience
Since its origins in 1859, Pullman has redefined how travellers meet and connect. Its latest evolution places exchange at the heart of the brand, reimagining hotels as vibrant social stages. A striking new design signature—the Pullman Portal—draws inspiration from the brand’s railway heritage, creating sculptural entryways that mark the transition into spaces of dialogue and creativity. Already installed at Pullman Dubai Jumeirah Lake Towers, the Portal will feature in upcoming openings such as Pullman Perth Airport and Pullman Hamilton.
Meeting and event spaces have been redesigned with flexibility in mind, transforming seamlessly from keynote venues to creative studios or cultural runways, reflecting Pullman’s belief that exchange thrives in adaptable environments.
Culinary Innovation
Bars and dining spaces are being repositioned as social anchors, alive from morning espresso to evening cocktails. In 2026, Pullman will launch Unexpected Pairings, an experiential ritual inviting guests to discover imaginative food and drink combinations through playful card‑draws—encouraging curiosity, conversation, and connection.
Human‑Centric Service
Pullman has also invested in a new learning programme for its 20,000+ team members, known as Heartists. Focused on empathy, cultural awareness, and emotional intelligence, the initiative aims to deliver service that blends efficiency with genuine human warmth. Around 60% of staff have already completed the training, with full rollout expected by 2026.
Pullman xChange: Vision Meets Legacy
The inaugural Pullman xChange, held in Dubai in November 2025, transformed Pullman Dubai Downtown into a live forum for creative collision. Developed with the House of Beautiful Business, the event explored innovation and cultural shifts under the theme Build What Outlasts You. Sessions featured voices from across disciplines, including Abdulaziz AlJaziri of the Dubai Future Foundation, neuroscientist Hannah Critchlow, cyberpsychologist Elaine Kasket, and architect Adib Dada. Future editions will take place in Europe, Asia, and South America, each co‑created with local cultural collectives.
Growth Momentum
“Pullman’s transformation marks a bold step into the future—one that fuses our heritage of movement and modernity with a renewed sense of purpose,” said Benoît Racle, Global Brand President, Premium, Accor. “Each hotel is conceived as a place of exchange, where ideas and people move freely, fostering creativity and connection.”
With more than 150 hotels in over 40 countries and 70 projects in the pipeline, Pullman is on track to surpass 200 properties within five years. Upcoming openings include Pullman Royal Key Wellness Resort in Guadeloupe, Pullman Kolašin Breza in Montenegro, and Pullman Tokyo Ginza in Japan, each showcasing the brand’s commitment to transformative architecture and revitalised spaces.
