Qatar Airways is poised to connect business travellers to more of the world this summer, with an expanded schedule taking the oneworld carrier’s network to more than 150 destinations from 16 June 2026.
The enlarged programme, which runs until 15 September 2026, introduces a raft of new routes and additional frequencies to and from the airline’s Doha hub. The move is aimed at providing corporate flyers and leisure passengers alike with greater flexibility as they finalise their summer itineraries.
In an update to its customer base, the Skytrax-rated carrier said passengers holding confirmed bookings on any affected service would be contacted directly with revised flight information. The airline is urging travellers to check its website and mobile app regularly, and to ensure contact details held on file are up to date.
Qatar Airways has also confirmed a raft of flexibility measures for ticket-holders travelling during the summer window. Passengers with confirmed bookings between 28 February and 15 September 2026 are eligible for complimentary date changes to a new travel date up to 31 October 2026, subject to availability and fare seasonality, when rebooking on flights operated by the airline.
Travellers whose flights are impacted by the schedule changes remain eligible for further fee-free changes until 31 October 2026, or, alternatively, a refund of the unused ticket value. The carrier has cautioned that refund requests may take up to 28 working days to process.
The Gulf carrier stressed that passengers should not proceed to their departure airport unless they hold a valid, confirmed ticket for travel.
The schedule expansion underlines Doha’s continued push to cement its status as one of the world’s most significant long-haul transit hubs, and comes as Gulf rivals Emirates and Etihad also scale up their summer programmes to meet rising demand on the Europe–Asia and Europe–Africa corridors.
