Rosewood Hotel Group has officially opened Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin, marking the luxury brand’s debut in the ski sector and expanding its global footprint across key high‑growth destinations.
The new alpine retreat, located in the prestigious enclave of Courchevel 1850, represents a significant milestone for the Group as it continues to diversify its portfolio with experience‑driven properties.
The launch comes during a landmark year for Rosewood, which is on track to open eight properties across three continents in 2025. These include the brand’s first standalone residential development, Rosewood Residences Beverly Hills, and the forthcoming Rosewood AMAALA on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast — a project set to introduce an ultra‑luxury regenerative escape to the region.
A New Benchmark for Alpine Luxury
Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin brings the brand’s signature residential‑style approach to one of the world’s most exclusive ski destinations. The property features refined accommodations, elevated dining, curated wellness experiences, and direct ski‑in/ski‑out access.
Art and design play a central role: the lobby showcases a striking installation by Olafur Eliasson, where crystalline structures suspended within mirrored walls create the illusion of infinite, snowflake‑inspired forms — a visual anchor tying the resort to its alpine surroundings.
A Year of Strategic Growth
The Courchevel opening forms part of a broader expansion strategy that spans Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas. Other 2025 debuts include:
- Rosewood Mandarina in Mexico
- Rosewood Miyakojima, the brand’s first property in Japan
- Rosewood Amsterdam, set within a restored UNESCO‑listed landmark
- The Chancery Rosewood in London
- New World Jinzhou Hotel in China’s Liaoning province
The Group is also deepening its footprint in the Gulf Cooperation Council region. Alongside Rosewood Abu Dhabi and Rosewood Doha, the upcoming Rosewood AMAALA and Rosewood Dubai will anchor the brand in some of the Middle East’s most ambitious cultural and lifestyle developments.
