Virgin Hotels have announced their 8th hotel, opening on 1st August, it will be the first hotel in Shoreditch London for the brand owned by Sir Richard Branson’s, Virgin Group.
Having just announced a new property in Kenya and also the launches of Virgin Hotel in New York and Edinburgh. “We’re all absolutely delighted that Virgin Hotels Collection will be opening a Virgin hotel in London” Sir Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Group commented.
The 120-bedroom hotel will be located at 45 Curtain Road in the heart of Shoreditch and will offer a rooftop bar, pool, private members club and spa managed by Ibiza’s Blue Marlin. The existing onsite restaurant, BiBo and the lobby bar and café, Christina’s will remain open but will be re-concepted into a very Virgin eatery in 2025.
Each room will be fitted with red Smeg fridges, patented beds and mattresses and controlled via the Lucy App. You can even stay in “Richard’s Flat”, yes that the name of the top category suite!
