Perched facing Mont Ventoux, Crillon le Brave embodies a unique vision of sanctuary.
It is a place to slow down, listen, and reconnect – a haven where intimate moments unfold, and a new approach to well-being can be imagined.
For the new season, the hotel introduces its new cottages from spring, a second swimming pool, and a dedicated space for culinary workshops. The Provençal retreat has reimagined its iconic Spa, nestled in the heart of the old vaulted stone stables dating back to the eighteenth century. The Spa now features a wet area equipped with a hammam, sauna, jacuzzi, and cold baths. Treatments, always delivered by the renowned Tata Harper brand, are now complemented by Maison Caulières, a French institution in plant-based care, and SeeMyCosmetics, recognised for its cutting-edge techniques and bespoke well-being protocols.
Additionally, Crillon le Brave opens a new chapter in its holistic approach by partnering with Claire Borwin, a dietician-nutritionist and naturopath, for a series of one- and two-day retreats offered throughout the season. These retreats are designed to be experienced over time, respecting natural rhythms and fostering a gentle dialogue between body, mind, and nature.
Retreats curated by Claire Borwin
Designed as successive breaths of fresh air, these gatherings invite guests to explore nutrition, physiology, emotions, and everyday rituals. Well-being here is not performed, it is cultivated. The retreats created with Claire Borwin follow the natural tempo of the place, blending culinary workshops, educational exchanges, gentle practices, and moments of silence. Nutrition is explored as a language of the body, examining the relationship between food, emotions, and the nervous system, the power of simple rituals, and the importance of conscious pleasure.
At Maison Tilleul, whether for a culinary workshop or a stroll along the paths, each experience is an invitation to recentre oneself: preparing a soothing meal, composing a personalised herbal tea, understanding the needs of your microbiome, or relearning how to listen to your sensations. True to the Maisons Pariente spirit, this collaboration values authenticity over showmanship, connection over performance. Intentionally small groups foster a confidential, almost familial atmosphere, where guidance is delivered with gentleness, sincerity, and high standards.
On April 25th, the season begins with a day dedicated to sleep, ‘From Plate to Dream: Nutrition and Rituals for Restorative Sleep’. In the hushed atmosphere of Maison Tilleul, this retreat explores the close relationship between nutrition, the nervous system, and the quality of rest. Gentle breathing exercises, discussions on chronobiology, calming culinary preparations, the discovery of herbal remedies, wellness treatments, and a silent walk through the village make for a day that feels like a slow, enveloping transition towards restful sleep.
From 8 May to 10 May, Crillon le Brave offers an immersive two-day retreat entitled “Summer in Balance: Vitality, Emotions, and the Joy of Homemade”. Conceived as a transition into the summer season, this interlude guides participants towards greater lightness, clarity, and both physical and emotional energy. Moments of connection, exploration of the microbiome-emotion-vitality relationship, mindful walks, culinary workshops, and treatments structure the two days. Time is deliberately stretched, allowing participants to integrate, feel, and depart with lasting insights.
On 4 July, a day is devoted to an iconic fruit, evocative of sun-filled moments both warm and flavourful: “Tomato Time: The Nutritional Secrets of a Fruit”. The tomato, a symbol of the vegetable garden and peak of the season, becomes the thread for an exploration that is nutritional, culinary, and creative. Juices, starters, main courses, and desserts are all crafted around this sun-loving fruit, while educational exchanges highlight its benefits and uses. Artistic workshops, painting, and treatments create a playful and sensory day where the kitchen converses with the imagination.
During autumn, from 16 October to 18 October, Crillon le Brave invites guests to experience a retreat dedicated to women’s health: “Vitality Rose: Women’s Health and Harmony Throughout the Year”. Imagined as a space for reconnection with the female body, this retreat addresses hormonal balance, anti-inflammatory nutrition, herbal medicine, and natural cycles. Pilates, breathwork, sensory workshops centred on oils, preparation of herbal teas, spa treatments, and moments of structured exchange form the framework for these two days. The kitchen becomes a terrain for feminine expression, blending transmission, sharing, and attentive listening to specific needs.
To close the season, from 11 December to 13 December, Crillon le Brave offers a conscious and indulgent retreat: “Chocol
Through this programme, Crillon le Brave asserts a profoundly embodied vision of well-being. Each retreat is designed in harmony with individual rhythms, with particular attention paid to the quality of support, intimacy of the groups, and coherence of the experiences offered.
These retreats are intended for those seeking less to transform themselves than to rediscover themselves. This is an art of hospitality that allows space for silence, for time, and for the meeting of self and others.
