The resort’s pools are beautifully designed but varied in atmosphere. The main pools can feel crowded, while the adult oceanfront pool beneath the Nobu restaurant offers serenity and sweeping views but be aware there is a $50 per‑person minimum spend. Shade can be limited on windy days, so early arrival is advised. The beach itself is spectacular for walks and sunsets, though swimming is prohibited due to strong currents.

Dining is a highlight. The Nobu Restaurant delivers the brand’s celebrated Japanese‑Peruvian fusion. Other outlets and poolside menus provide variety, though portion sizes can be modest, making meals more expensive than they first appear. Bars are stylish but surprisingly quiet at night, leaving the resort’s evenings subdued.

Wellness and fitness are well catered for. The gym is modern and well‑equipped, with optional yoga and pilates classes. Spa services are available, though pricing is premium. For meetings and events, Nobu Los Cabos offers over 14,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor space, including ballrooms, terraces and gardens — ideal for corporate retreats and incentive programs.

Practicalities matter here. Transport can be frustrating: Uber and taxis are not permitted to pick up guests inside the compound, forcing reliance on hotel‑arranged transfers that are costly and sometimes slow. This can complicate excursions into Cabo San Lucas, so renting a car or planning to stay largely on‑site is advisable.

Nobu Hotel Los Cabos is a design‑driven resort with exceptional rooms, refined dining and standout MICE facilities. It excels as a retreat for those who value architecture, cuisine and tranquillity, but guests should budget for extras and be prepared for transport limitations.  Despite these little quirks it remains a beautiful property that delivers the unmistakable Nobu standard.
