True Travel, the B Corp-certified luxury independent tour operator, has announced a major expansion of its sustainable adventure portfolio, unveiling a collection of new tailor-made journeys across South America and Antarctica.
The new experiences include bespoke glamping escapes in Peru, a nine-day expedition cruise through Patagonia, a 12-day “Dr. Jones” aviation adventure down South America’s west coast, and a carbon-neutral luxury journey to Antarctica in partnership with White Desert.
The collection builds on True Travel’s commitment to sustainable, responsible travel, blending comfort, conservation, and cultural authenticity across some of the world’s most remote regions.
“We are really excited to expand our luxury adventure offering in Latin America and Antarctica,” said David Corvacho, Senior Latin America Specialist at True Travel. “The Dr. Jones journey in particular is an incredible, immersive experience harking back to a golden age of adventure undertaken in comfort and style.”
Immersive glamping in the Andes
Puqio, Colca Canyon
Inspired by the spirit of early explorers, the new Puqio luxury tented camp is set deep within Peru’s Colca Canyon — one of the world’s deepest and most dramatic landscapes. Guests can explore the valley’s high-altitude trails, meet local weavers, learn ancient herbal traditions, and unwind in natural thermal baths. Each stay is fully customisable, ensuring no two adventures are alike.
Tinajani, Valley of the Giants
Located in the otherworldly Valley of the Giants, Tinajani is a low-impact glamping retreat accommodating just twelve guests. The experience combines hiking, cycling and stargazing with immersive storytelling and regional gastronomy. The menu celebrates local ingredients and time-honoured Andean cooking traditions, bringing guests closer to Peru’s natural and cultural heritage.
Expedition cruises and aviation adventures
Patagonia Expedition: Navigation of the Fjords
In partnership with Antarctica21, True Travel now offers a nine-day wilderness expedition through the Patagonian fjords aboard the Magellan Explorer. Travelling from southern Chile through the Patagonia Ice Field, guests will sail past glaciers, mountain peaks, and wildlife including penguins, sea lions, and dolphins.
White Desert’s “Dr. Jones” Aviation Adventure
Evoking the glamour of 1940s aviation, this 12-day, 12-guest private journey takes travellers from Peru to Patagonia aboard a restored Dakota DC3 aircraft. The route includes stops at Chachapoyas, Paracas, and the Atacama Desert, offering privileged access to some of South America’s most hidden and historic destinations.
Antarctica with White Desert
For the ultimate luxury adventure, True Travel now offers a carbon-neutral expedition to Antarctica. Guests arrive by private jet and stay in eco-luxury camps, combining polar exploration with world-class comfort. Every element is designed to minimise environmental impact while maximising the sense of discovery.
Sustainability and stewardship
As a B Corp-certified company, True Travel continues to embed sustainability at the heart of its operations — from carbon offsetting and community partnerships to supporting conservation initiatives in the destinations it serves.
Each new journey has been curated to reflect the brand’s ethos: thoughtful, responsible, and transformative travel experiences that go beyond luxury to leave a positive legacy for the places and people involved.
