NFL fans gearing up for Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans were doing double takes yesterday when Marriott Bonvoy and Courtyard by Marriott’s Fanbassador Jason Kelce unleashed 25 lookalikes across the city to give away its famous Super Bowl Sleepover Suite.
Today, they revealed the winning duo alongside a thumb-stopping video that recapped the Search and photos of Jason and the “Jason’s” hanging out in the streets of New Orleans.
Five of the most passionate NFL fan duos in America were challenged to be the first team to Find the Real Jason Kelce in a sea of Kelce lookalikes spread throughout the French Quarter. In the end, Maris and Donnovan from Texas took home the prize, where they will spend the night before the game in the converted stadium suite inside the Caesars Superdome and attend Super Bowl LIX the following day.
This NFL regular season in his role as Fanbassador, Kelce unlocked incredible football-related experiences for Marriott Bonvoy members every week of the regular season through the Marriott Bonvoy Moments platform. Now, ahead of the biggest game of the year, he physically unlocked the Courtyard Super Bowl Sleepover Suite for these lucky fans.
“As Marriott Bonvoy and Courtyard by Marriott’s first-ever Fanbassador, I got the chance to help create some epic, once-in-a-lifetime football experiences for NFL fans throughout the regular season. To close out the season, I wanted to bring the ultimate challenge, one only a true football fan would be able to crack – finding the real me!” said Jason Kelce. “The Sleepover Suite is hands down one of the most unique experiences I’ve seen at the Super Bowl, and I’m pumped to have been able to unlock this exclusive opportunity for the lucky winners.”
The Jason lookalikes will also become their own “Fanbassadors” for the rest of Super Bowl week. NFL fans descending upon New Orleans can spot groups of Jasons throughout the city all week long – anyone who approaches and engages with them can score Courtyard by Marriott and Marriott Bonvoy gear, merch, gift cards, and more.
“The Marriott Bonvoy partnership with the NFL is all about creating incredible opportunities to bring football fans closer to the game they love, and teaming up with Jason Kelce this season helped us to fulfill this promise in new and fun ways for our members,” says Peggy Roe, EVP + Chief Customer Officer, Marriott International. “Bringing dozens of Jason Kelce lookalikes down to New Orleans to help select our Courtyard by Marriott Super Bowl Sleepover Suite winner seemed to be the only fitting end to this incredible season and if you’re down in New Orleans, you might just spot one of them running around the French Quarter this weekend!”
Courtyard by Marriott’s Super Bowl Sleepover Suite offers the most dedicated football fans the chance of a lifetime – to wake up inside the stadium on Super Bowl Sunday. Every year, Courtyard transforms a luxury suite inside the stadium into a working hotel room, with one lucky fan duo being the first people in the stadium on gameday. Now in its 9th year, the Sleepover Suite has become an iconic tradition of the Marriott Bonvoy and Courtyard by Marriott partnership with the NFL that brings fans closer to the game they love.
