Travellers heading to Moab will soon have more ways to reach the region, with new United Express and Delta Connection services launching at Canyonlands Regional Airport (CNY) this October.
The expansion adds year‑round connectivity to Denver and seasonal flights to Salt Lake City, significantly improving access to one of Utah’s most visited outdoor destinations.
United Express will begin year‑round service to Denver International Airport on 7 October, operating one or two daily roundtrips. The first flight departs Denver at 8:00 a.m., arriving in Moab at 9:30 a.m., with the return leaving CNY at 10:10 a.m..
Delta Connection will resume seasonal service to Salt Lake City International Airport from 1 October, running one daily roundtrip through Thanksgiving before pausing and returning in March. The first flight departs SLC at 3:40 p.m., arriving in Moab at 4:40 p.m., with the return departing at 5:36 p.m..
Both routes will be operated by SkyWest Airlines, using CRJ200 aircraft for United and CRJ550 aircraft for Delta, offering First, Comfort and Main seating options.
Moab Office of Tourism says the added connectivity will encourage longer stays and deeper exploration of the region’s national parks and public lands. “New service from Denver and Salt Lake City makes Moab easier to reach from across the country and around the world,” said director Michael Soleta, noting the area offers far more than visitors can fit into a short trip.
SkyWest added that direct access to two major hubs opens new opportunities for both local travellers and visitors connecting through United’s and Delta’s global networks.
Flights are now available to book via united.com and delta.com, with travellers earning MileagePlus or SkyMiles on respective services.
