This May half term, Geneva Tourism invites families to step into a world of mystery, discovery, and imagination with its interactive outdoor experience The Guardians.
Designed for children aged 8-12, and equally enjoyable for curious parents and puzzle enthusiasts, this self-guided city adventure turns Geneva into a real-life playground of clues, stories, and hidden surprises.
At the heart of the experience lies the legend of the Secret Guardians of Geneva, mythical protectors of the city who have mysteriously fallen into a deep sleep due to the disappearance of the nine symbols that make up the enchanted Magic Crest. Young adventurers are called upon to take on an important mission this May half term: follow the trail across the city, solve a series of clever riddles inspired by Geneva’s heritage, and piece together the lost symbols to help awaken the Guardians once more.
The journey begins at the Rotonde du Mont-Blanc, offering an unforgettable first glimpse of the Jet d’Eau and setting the stage for the adventure ahead. Every stop reveals a new part of the story, making it the perfect May half term activity for families looking for something active, cultural, and fun.
Each kit includes a game booklet packed with puzzles, a city map, colouring pencils to spark creativity, a souvenir postcard, and a Magic Crest to rebuild. For every game purchased, £1 is donated to the eco-conscious MyClimate –
The Guardians offers a fresh, imaginative way for families to experience Geneva this May half term, inspiring curiosity, sparking creativity, and creating lasting memories in one of Europe’s most beautiful cities.
