Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott Hotel has expanded its events offering for 2026 with a new collection of packages designed for conferences, gala dinners, group stays, private events and incentive gatherings overlooking the Dorset coastline.

Established in 1874, Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott Hotel is one of Dorset’s best-known coastal hotels, combining historic character with refurbished accommodation and flexible event spaces overlooking Bournemouth’s coastline. The hotel was fully renovated in 2024 to coincide with its 150th anniversary.

The hotel offers a range of adaptable spaces for conferences, awards dinners, networking receptions and private dining.

The Dorchester Suite accommodates up to 220 guests and includes a private bar, stage, cloakroom and dedicated entrance, while the Bryanston Suite provides a naturally lit space for smaller meetings and receptions. The Sherborne Suite caters for more intimate dining and breakout events, and Harry’s Bar provides the ideal space for a more informal gathering, from awards functions to after conference gatherings, with a dance floor space accommodating up to 80 guests.

As part of the wider launch, Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott Hotel has introduced refreshed gala dinner and private event packages under The Events Chapter, alongside dedicated event planning support and bespoke catering options.

The launch also highlights the hotel’s recently renovated Coastal Cottages, a collection of 19 individually designed guestrooms housed within restored 19th-century former coastguard cottages. Positioned adjacent to the main hotel, the cottages provide an alternative accommodation option for group bookings, VIP hosting and exclusive-use stays.

Alongside its event facilities, Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott Hotel offers 167 refurbished guestrooms, landscaped lawns suitable for outdoor receptions and networking, a seasonal outdoor pool, and on-site dining at Brasserie Blanc.

Its coastal location, combined with residential-style accommodation and flexible event spaces, makes the hotel well suited to away days, incentive trips, residential conferences and multi-day group stays outside of London.

Michael Regenhardt, General Manager at Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott Hotel, said: “We wanted to create packages that give organisers more flexibility, whether they’re planning a gala dinner, conference, private celebration or residential stay. The combination of our coastal setting, adaptable event spaces and renovated accommodation allows us to create events that feel professional while still offering something a little different from a traditional city venue.”
