Spanish hospitality group FERGUS Hotels is pushing ahead with the expansion of its family resort portfolio across Spain, driven by rising demand from the UK market for its all-inclusive Club concept.
For UK business travellers, the timing is worth noting. Mallorca, Menorca and the Catalonian coast are all served by frequent direct flights from airports across Britain, and all-inclusive properties of this kind give SME owners and their teams a predictable, single-price way to bolt a family break onto a Spanish work trip, or to reward staff without the risk of runaway extras.
The Club collection brings together contemporary leisure facilities, varied dining and family-focused entertainment, and has become a central growth driver for the brand in some of Spain’s busiest coastal destinations.
Magaluf flagship leads the portfolio
At the front of the line-up is FERGUS Club Mallorca Waterpark in Magaluf, now one of the top-performing all-inclusive family resorts among major UK tour operators. The property houses the largest resort water park in the Balearic Islands and sits in a regenerated part of Magaluf, a resort area within the wider Calvià municipality, which has been investing in new hiking trails and year-round attractions to broaden its appeal beyond the beach.
Guests get multiple pools, slides and splash zones, plus a miniclub, a gaming zone and entertainment built around the trend towards experience-led family holidays. Adults are not forgotten, with quieter relaxation areas featuring Balinese beds.
Sport and space on Mallorca’s east coast
On the island’s east coast, FERGUS Club Font de Sa Cala strengthens the family offer further. Set just steps from the beach, the resort is aimed at active holidays and carries one of the most extensive sports offerings in the group’s portfolio, including 11 clay tennis courts and a semi-Olympic swimming pool alongside spacious outdoor pools and children’s splash zones.
