The St. Kitts Tourism Authority has launched a Do Not Disturb collection, a curated programme of wellness and slow-travel experiences designed to help visitors log off, unplug from digital distractions and reconnect with nature.
For UK business travellers weighing up where to spend hard-earned annual leave, or where to add a few restorative days to a Caribbean work trip, the pitch is simple: an island with space, serenity and a growing roster of mindful activities, reachable from London Gatwick on twice-weekly direct British Airways flights.
What the collection includes
The programme spans everything from starlit sleep therapy to sunset sails, drawing on providers across the island. Art of Presence runs sacred circles and guided rituals built around grounding movement, energy cleansing and sensory experiences intended to foster calm. At Mango Walk Spa at Belle Mont Sanctuary, guests can book outdoor treatments featuring herbal poultices, coconut milk and rose, while Imagine Yoga in Frigate Bay offers restorative sound baths and yoga sessions in a natural setting.
The island’s flagship resorts feature too. Sugar Mill Spa at the Park Hyatt St. Kitts hosts mindful cacao ceremonies paired with intention setting and reflection, and the Emerald Mist Spa at the St. Kitts Marriott Beach Resort offers private plunge pools and saunas. Those who prefer their relaxation with a little more movement can join Blue Water Safaris for sailing and snorkelling catamaran tours along the coastline, or take a self-drive jeep adventure with SKN Jeepers through the island’s rainforest interior, finishing with a beach stop. At Sugar Town Organics, visitors create their own self-care products using local Caribbean botanicals in balm and bond workshops.
“Do Not Disturb is more than a message – it’s a mindset we hope travellers embrace while on St. Kitts,” said Marsha T. Henderson, Minister of Tourism. “We want visitors to truly disconnect from the demands of everyday life and savour the island’s natural beauty. St. Kitts provides the perfect space to focus on wellness and rejuvenation, allowing travellers to focus their attention on the important things.”
Why it matters for business travellers
The launch lands as demand for recovery-focused trips keeps climbing among UK professionals. With 60 per cent of UK workers now extending business trips into holidays, destinations that package genuine downtime are increasingly competing for the same travellers who spend the rest of the year on the road. For SME owners and frequent flyers, a structured programme of switch-off experiences takes the planning burden out of an unwinding break, which is often the first thing busy people fail to organise.
St. Kitts has been steadily building its appeal to British visitors, from new summer packages timed around the school holidays to fresh attractions and hotel openings.
Getting there
British Airways operates direct flights from London Gatwick to St. Kitts twice a week. Travellers should note that Saint Kitts and Nevis has introduced an Electronic Travel Authorization for arrivals, and can check current entry requirements on gov.uk.
