Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como has reopened for the 2026 season, unveiling a redesigned signature restaurant, refreshed wellness offering and a new spring accommodation package that repositions the lakeside resort for a new era of elegant, design‑driven hospitality.

The most striking update is the transformation of L’ARIA, reimagined by Herzog & de Meuron. The redesign enhances the flow of the restaurant and introduces a warm, tactile palette of Venetian terrazzo, Italian marble, polished dark woods and old‑rose fabrics inspired by the surrounding gardens. A sculptural counter now anchors the space, shifting from breakfast display to aperitivo bar, while a pressed cast‑glass ceiling and brass details create a luminous, ever‑changing atmosphere from veranda to terrace.

Executive Chef Massimiliano Blasone leads the refreshed culinary direction, blending local Italian flavours with Eastern techniques, from robata‑grilled dishes to raw fish, light tempura and contemporary takes on Italian classics, all served on handcrafted ceramics inspired by the lake’s natural elements. Guests can also dine at CO.MO Bar & Bistrot or the lakeside NAMI Café, both offering contemporary menus with Italian and Asian influences.

Wellness has been elevated with four new 111SKIN signature treatments, including the Black Diamond Non‑Surgical Lift Facial and the Reparative Longevity Facial, alongside brightening and cryotherapy‑based rituals designed to deliver visible results and deep restoration.

To celebrate the reopening, the resort has introduced La Primavera in Lake Como, a package combining two nights’ accommodation, breakfast at L’ARIA, lunch at CO.MO Bar & Bistrot, a spa treatment for two and a choice of outdoor activities, from guided lakeside walks to alternative wellness experiences, starting from EUR 1,770 for two guests.

Anchored by the 19th‑century Villa Roccabruna, the resort offers 24 rooms, 49 suites and two private villas, all recently renovated to reflect modern Italian elegance softened with subtle oriental touches and framed by panoramic lake views that define the property’s serene identity.

With its renewed restaurant, elevated spa offering and refined accommodation, Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como enters the season with a confident, contemporary vision of lakeside luxury.
