This collaboration significantly strengthens AccesRail’s Italian rail portfolio by expanding route coverage, increasing service frequency, and providing travellers with more flexible and efficient journey options.
Launching in Spring 2026, the partnership will introduce enhanced high-speed rail connections across key Italian cities, including Rome, Milan, Florence, Naples, and Bologna. Through AccesRail’s integrated distribution solution on all major GDS platforms, airlines and travel agents will be able to seamlessly combine air and rail bookings within a single ticket, including convenient transfers between airports and train stations for a fully connected travel experience.
Importantly for the travel trade, Italo services will be available on AccesRail’s airline carrier code 9B and issued on BSP ticket stock 450, enabling travel agents worldwide to book and ticket high-
speed rail segments using their existing GDS workflows and BSP settlement processes. This ensures ease of access, streamlined accounting, and seamless integration into standard airline
ticketing environments.
The addition of Italo’s high-speed services enhances AccesRail’s ability to provide global access to premium rail operators through a single booking platform. Airlines and Travel professionals worldwide will benefit from expanded inventory and seamless integration with existing airline reservation systems, enabling them to deliver efficient, multimodal itineraries with ease.
