Aer Lingus and Aer Lingus Regional have unveiled an expanded summer 2026 schedule from Cork Airport, adding two new European routes and boosting capacity on key services.
From 2 May 2026, Aer Lingus will launch a new route to Nice, followed by services to Santiago de Compostela from 1 June. The airline is also converting its Prague route into a year-round service, strengthening connectivity to Central Europe.
Meanwhile, Aer Lingus Regiona, operated exclusively by Emerald Airline, will increase frequencies to Glasgow from four to six weekly flights starting 25 May, adding Tuesday and Wednesday departures. The Bristol route will continue daily, with double services on Mondays and Fridays.
The expansion builds on Cork’s growing portfolio of leisure destinations, which already includes Malaga, Tenerife, Lanzarote, Faro, Palma de Mallorca, Bilbao, Bordeaux and London Heathrow.
In parallel, Aer Lingus confirmed that from 3 March 2026 its 10kg carry-on baggage policy will apply across all Aer Lingus Regional flights. Plus and Advantage fare customers will receive a complimentary 10kg cabin bag, while Saver passengers may pay to carry it onboard or check it into the hold free of charge. AerClub baggage benefits will also extend across the regional network.
The expanded schedule marks Aer Lingus’ most diverse summer offering yet from Cork, reflecting sustained demand and the airline’s continued investment in regional connectivity.
