The French Riviera’s Belle Époque landmark, Le Beauvallon, has officially reopened as COMO Le Beauvallon, welcoming its first guests.
Built in 1914 and closed for restoration in 2008, the property has returned to life as a full hotel under COMO Hotels and Resorts, marking the brand’s debut on the Gulf of Saint‑Tropez.
Set within a private ten‑acre estate overlooking the bay, the hotel offers a hillside main building, a bayside pool and beach club, and direct mooring for yacht tenders. Guests can reach Saint‑Tropez in eight minutes via the hotel’s complimentary speedboat, with a second vessel serving Ramatuelle and Pampelonne.
A standout feature of the bayside gardens is the 2002 Serpentine Gallery Summer Pavilion by Pritzker Prize–winner Toyo Ito, relocated piece by piece to the property as a striking venue for private events. The new signature restaurant, Beauvallon Sur Mer, blends Asian influences with Provençal and Mediterranean flavours, supported by all‑day dining in the Winter Garden and a lobby lounge anchored by an installation by Chinese artist Zheng Lu.
The hotel’s 42 individually designed rooms and suites showcase more than 300 contemporary artworks, with bay‑facing suites and Hillview rooms overlooking the countryside. COMO Shambhala treatment rooms, daily yoga and healthy menus extend the brand’s wellness philosophy.
“The opening of COMO Le Beauvallon marks an important moment for the COMO Group — a rare opportunity to establish our presence in one of Europe’s most exclusive destinations,” says CEO Olivier Jolivet.
