InterContinental Phuket Resort has secured admission to Signature Travel Network, the global community of luxury travel advisors, in a move that cements the Kamala Beach property’s credentials as one of southern Thailand’s leading high-end business and leisure destinations.

The resort becomes one of just 16 hotels across Thailand and only four in Phuket to be represented by the network, which connects affluent travellers with specialist advisors who provide bespoke planning, insider access and exclusive privileges. It is also the first and only InterContinental-branded property in the country to gain entry.

For corporate travellers and incentive planners eyeing Phuket, the 221-key resort offers a strong proposition. Accommodation spans rooms, suites and private villas, while eight restaurants and bars cover both Thai and international dining. Five pools are spread across the hillside grounds, and Sati Spa draws on traditional Asian wellness practices for those seeking downtime between meetings or events.

The property is already well decorated. It holds two Michelin Keys, awarded in both 2024 and 2025, making it the only InterContinental worldwide to receive the distinction. It also features in the portfolios of Virtuoso Preferred, Serandipians, American Express The Hotel Collection and the MICHELIN Guide, among others.

A significant expansion is on the horizon. The resort plans to open 43 private pool suites in the fourth quarter of 2026, together with two new restaurants, a bar and an upgraded Club InterContinental lounge promising greater privacy and a more personalised arrival experience, features likely to appeal to senior executives and high-value group bookings alike.

Phuket continues to strengthen its position as a destination for premium corporate travel in south-east Asia, and InterContinental’s latest network affiliation will give it greater visibility among the advisory community that influences where top-tier business travellers stay.
