Jet Linx’s MemberSeat Exchange will increase ease of private jet flight sharing while maintaining the privacy of a closed network of fliers nationwide

Jet Linx has announced the launch of its new MemberSeat Exchange, a private jet flight sharing program designed to provide its clients with increased flexibility and value. The program, which serves as an evolution of the Company’s original OpenSeat Exchange, first launched in 2006, to allow its clients the opportunity to view, request, and share available empty seats on select upcoming flights while keeping every trip fully private and within the controlled Jet Linx ecosystem.

The MemberSeat Exchange, accessed exclusively via the Jet Linx App, enables clients to request seats on already scheduled Jet Card Member flights or offer available seats on their own booked trips, creating a unique opportunity to offset a large portion of their travel costs if they so desire. To protect client confidentiality, all identities remain completely anonymous until a seat request is mutually confirmed. Furthermore, aircraft owner flights are also listed on the exchange, and participation is entirely optional to ensure the service only enhances the private aviation experience without impacting scheduling, availability, or privacy.

Unlike public empty leg listings or third party marketplace platforms that broker flights to the general public, MemberSeat Exchange operates strictly within the vetted Jet Linx client community, between its nationwide network of Jet Card Members and Aircraft Owners. All flights within the program are operated and managed exclusively by Jet Linx. This closed network structure preserves the Company’s longstanding commitment to rigorous safety standards, consistent service delivery, and absolute privacy for its clients.

The introduction of MemberSeat Exchange reflects a broader evolution in private aviation toward smarter aircraft utilization and increased optionality for frequent flyers to common destinations. By leveraging its national infrastructure and locally based service model, Jet Linx continues to enhance the value of its Jet Card Membership while maintaining total operational control and quality standards across its 22 Base locations nationwide.

“The MemberSeat Exchange represents an innovative extension of our client-first philosophy,” said Jamie Walker, Executive Chairman of Jet Linx. “We are always looking to enhance our services to provide our clients with more flexibility and value, while ensuring every flight remains private, secure, and fully within the trusted Jet Linx community.”

The MemberSeat Exchange is a client-only experience available exclusively to eligible Jet Linx Jet Card Members and Aircraft Owners through the new Jet Linx App.
