Luxury tour operator KissFromItaly has expanded its private yacht programme along Italy’s Amalfi Coast with the launch of bespoke charters departing from Salerno, opening up a fresh option for business travellers and cruise passengers in search of a high-end shore experience.
The boutique operator, which specialises in private Italian travel, now offers yacht tours from all five principal departure points along the coast: Naples, Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi and, from this week, Salerno. The move cements the company’s position as one of the most comprehensive providers of luxury maritime tourism in southern Italy.
Salerno has emerged as a significant hub for international cruise traffic in recent years, with its modern maritime terminal welcoming a steady stream of ships from around the world. The addition of private charters from the port is intended to give arriving passengers a direct and personalised alternative to larger group excursions, allowing them to step ashore and board a dedicated yacht within minutes of disembarkation, a meaningful time saving for corporate travellers on tight schedules.
From Salerno, guests can chart a course along the coast’s most celebrated stretches or cross to the island of Capri, home to the Faraglioni rock formations. Itineraries can also take in the Li Galli archipelago and the Fjord of Furore, with optional lunch stops at handpicked seaside restaurants serving regional cuisine.
Each charter is fully private, with the vessel and skipper reserved exclusively for the client and the itinerary tailored to the guest’s requirements, whether departing from a hotel, private villa or cruise terminal.
