Canada is preparing for one of its most significant luxury hotel unveilings in recent years. Rimrock Banff, Emblems Collection will introduce a new standard of contemporary mountain hospitality in the heart of Banff National Park.
The property, long admired for its dramatic setting above the Bow Valley, has undergone a complete transformation and will become the first Emblems Collection hotel in North America, signalling a major moment for the brand and for Canadian luxury travel.
The redesign places nature at the forefront. The hotel’s 320 guestrooms and suites have been reimagined with expansive windows and interiors that frame the surrounding Rockies, creating a seamless connection between the landscape and the living space. Natural materials, warm tones and modern lines define the new aesthetic, while public areas have been opened up to maximise light and panoramic views.
A cornerstone of the relaunch is the hotel’s ambitious 9,600‑square‑foot wellness bathhouse, set to become one of the most impressive wellness facilities in the region. The space will feature vitality pools, saunas, steam rooms, hydrotherapy circuits, cold plunges and a mountain‑facing infinity pool — all designed to encourage deep rest, recovery and reconnection with the natural environment.
Dining will be elevated through four new culinary concepts, each celebrating Canadian ingredients and the flavours of the Rockies. Menus will emphasise craftsmanship, locality and a strong sense of place, offering guests a refined yet relaxed approach to mountain dining.
The hotel will also introduce Pathfinders, a team of expert guides dedicated to crafting personalised experiences throughout Banff National Park. Guests will be able to explore the region through glacier walks, guided hikes, forest bathing, alpine yoga, wildlife encounters and cultural experiences shaped by Indigenous knowledge.
