ESS Group, the Nordic hospitality company known for design‑driven destinations such as Maryhill Estate, Ellery Beach House and Fýri, is taking its signature lifestyle onto the water this summer with the launch of ESSOESS, a 24‑metre yacht now based in Palma de Mallorca.
The move marks the brand’s first foray into yachting and extends its highly social, atmosphere‑led philosophy beyond its hotels and resorts.
The yacht is positioned not as a standalone charter product but as a floating extension of the ESS universe, mirroring the group’s focus on food, music, personality and curated experiences . Docked beneath Palma’s cathedral, ESSOESS is available for half‑day, full‑day, overnight and multi‑day charters, accommodating up to eight overnight guests and 12 day guests . Routes take travellers through the Balearics’ hidden coves, beach clubs and swimming spots, with onboard activities including baysurfing, paddleboarding, snorkelling, dining and music all delivered with the personalised service ESS is known for .
What makes the concept notable is its brand‑first approach. ESS has built its reputation on creating destinations where the social experience is as important as the setting, and ESSOESS brings that same energy to the Mediterranean . It’s not simply a yacht; it’s a mobile version of the group’s hotels, restaurants and bars a lifestyle proposition designed for travellers who want the ESS vibe without staying on land .
At this stage, no press trips are scheduled, though the brand is exploring possibilities for later in the season .
For business travellers heading to Mallorca, ESSOESS offers a new way to experience the Balearics — part yacht charter, part hospitality concept, and unmistakably ESS.
