Treehotel, one of Sweden’s most recognisable design-led hospitality names, is expanding its portfolio this August with Oasis, a new forest-level suite that marks a notable shift from the property’s signature treetop architecture.

For business travellers seeking restorative space between meetings, long-haul flights or Nordic itineraries, the launch adds a fresh dimension to high‑end remote stays in the Arctic north.

Located in Harads, around an hour from Luleå, Oasis has been created by architects Nadén & Lind as a secluded, sensory-focused retreat. Instead of elevating guests into the canopy, the structure folds into the forest floor, with two curved, organic walls built around existing pine trunks. The design intentionally narrows the outward view, drawing attention upward to the Arctic light and the natural “ceiling” formed by the trees, a setting that encourages decompression after intense travel schedules.

Despite its contemplative design philosophy, Oasis is fully equipped for premium downtime. The suite sleeps up to five and includes a private sauna, hot tub and eco‑shower, offering a rare combination of wilderness immersion and comfort. For corporate groups travelling together, small leadership teams, or executives extending a Nordic work trip into a wellness‑focused break, the suite provides a self-contained environment that balances privacy with nature.

Opening 10 August 2026, Oasis strengthens Treehotel’s position as a standout destination for travellers looking to pair Scandinavian design with meaningful rest — a trend increasingly shaping premium business travel.
