Arriving in a new destination can be one of the most uncertain moments of a trip. After a long flight, navigating a new airport or figuring transportation in an unfamiliar city can quickly turn excitement into stress.

For more than a decade, Welcome Pickups, has focused on solving exactly that moment. Currently, the company welcomes three million travellers each year across more than 375 destinations worldwide, helping guests start their trip with confidence through reliable transfers and a personal welcome upon arrival.

That’s why Welcome Pickups is partnering with Airbnb, one of the world’s most trusted travel platforms, to bring the Welcome Pickups experience to Airbnb guests around the world.

Starting today, Airbnb guests booking a stay in more than 125 cities across Asia, Europe, and Latin America will be able to pre-book a private transfer directly within the Airbnb app.

The launch follows a successful pilot earlier this year, where thousands of Airbnb guests across Europe and Asia used the service, resulting in an average rating of 4.96.

Making arrivals effortless

Welcome Pickups was built to remove the friction travellers often face after landing by offering pre-booked, fixed-price transfers with professional, vetted drivers and a personal welcome at the pickup location.

Travelers can plan and pay for their transfer in advance and arrive at their destination knowing exactly how they’ll get there.

“Airbnb Services are designed to enhance a guest’s stay, and our partnership with Welcome Pickups delivers that from the moment they arrive,” said Dave Stephenson, Chief Business Officer at Airbnb. “Now guests can book private transfers in advance, taking the hassle out of organizing transportation in a new city. We’re excited to expand Airbnb Services with more helpful offerings, and this is just the start.”

“Arriving in a new destination should feel exciting, not stressful,” said Alex Trimis, Chief Executive Officer at Welcome Pickups. “For years, Welcome Pickups has helped travellers plan that moment in advance, with reliable transfers and a personal welcome waiting when they arrive. That approach has earned the trust of millions of travelers. Through this partnership with Airbnb, we’re excited to share that experience with an even wider community of travelers around the world.”

This partnership represents an important step toward Welcome Pickups’ broader vision of making travel arrivals seamless everywhere. By bringing the Welcome Pickups experience directly into the Airbnb travel journey, millions more travellers will be able to start their trip with certainty, comfort, and a warm welcome.
