This May, the five-star Hotel Bellevue will welcome internationally renowned authors for its second year. Founded by Kristin Vuković, author of ‘The Cheesemaker’s Daughter’, the Adriatic Writers Conference (AWC) brings literature to life through intimate literary evenings, school visits, engaging workshops, and discussion panels. The first literary conference of its kind in Croatia, the second annual AWC 2026 workshop instructors are bestselling author, podcaster, and creator, and award-winning journalist Jo Piazza, AWC founder Kristin Vuković, journalist and New York Times bestselling author, Andrea Bartz, book coach Lidija Hilje, and Mindy’s Book Studio author Sheila Yasmin Marikar. Sunset Cruise Aboard Nerezinac

Every Wednesday in July and August, guests are invited to step aboard Nerezinac, a fully restored, 19^th-century lugger, for an intimate and complimentary 90-minute sunset sail along Lošinj’s coastline. With just 10 guests per voyage, the seafaring adventure offers a peaceful golden-hour escape from Čikat Bay with a glass of champagne in hand while guests watch the sunset and view the island from a panoramic perspective. Nerezinac is part of the Sailing Interpretation Centre of Lošinj’s Maritime Heritage. As an open-air museum, the ship’s main deck and former cargo hold feature interactive exhibits that bring to life the stories of Lošinj’s sailors, maritime routes, shipbuilding, and daily life at sea – a one-of-a-kind nautical adventure.

51^st Osor Musical Evenings

Celebrating its 51^st event, the Osor Music Evenings have taken place as a renowned classical music festival that has dazzled its audiences and created an atmosphere of calm reflection. For over half a century, Osor has transformed into a gathering place for musicians, composers, and classical music lovers, all uniting to celebrate this genre of beautiful music. This “Monaco-meets-Adriatic” car event involves static displays and parades of some of the world’s most exceptional vintage and modern cars around Čikat Bay, curated design talks and appearances from leading international automotive designers (previous editions featured names such as Peter Stevens and Fabrizio Giugiaro presenting the McLaren F1), and judged concours categories focused on elegance, originality, and design.
