Following a successful first season since opening in September 2025, Off Grid Girona is introducing a new calendar of hosted experiences focused on cycling, wellbeing and longer stays.
These seasonal experiences build naturally on the principles that have shaped Off Grid Girona from day one: nature, simplicity and shared experiences.
Set within a restored 17th-century masia beneath Mare de Déu del Mont in Catalonia’s Alta Garrotxa, the ten-bedroom open house was launched by YOTEL co-founder Gerard Greene as a return to a slower, more grounded way of experiencing hospitality. Communal dining, thoughtful design, local collaborations and a quiet invitation to switch off create a sense of place that extends beyond the house itself, connecting guests with the surrounding dormant volcanoes, ancient forests and medieval villages.
Off Grid Slow Living Weeks
New throughout November 2026 and February 2027, Off Grid Slow Living Weeks are designed for guests who want to extend their stay, combining time outdoors, cycling and the flexibility of working away from home.
Days are designed to find their own rhythm. Mornings might begin with coffee on the terrace before everyone heads off in different directions – some to quiet corners of the house for remote working focus, others onto the region’s renowned road and gravel cycling routes or nearby hiking trails. Afternoons leave space for yoga, swims, village lunches or simply reading by the pool, before the house comes back together over shared dinners, local wine and informal fireside conversations. Each week will also be punctuated with a lively series of engaging expert-led talks curated by Eat Sleep Cycle around themes such as cycling, performance and recovery.
From €850pp (single occupancy) €600pp (double occupancy) including six nights’ accommodation, daily breakfast, two lunches, three dinners, yoga, laundry, and cultural excursions. Bike hire can be arranged at a special Slow Living rate from Eat Sleep Cycle.
Off Grid Rituals & Renewal with Olively
Taking place from 16–18 April 2027, the inaugural Off Grid Rituals & Renewal retreat will bring together Off Grid Girona’s slow-living philosophy with natural skincare brand Olively for a weekend dedicated to conscious wellbeing.
Rather than a traditional wellness retreat, the experience will focus on the relationship between movement, nature, seasonal food and mindful skincare, encouraging guests to consider the products they use on their skin as thoughtfully as the food they eat. The programme will include guided hikes and trail runs, Pilates and yoga, hands-on workshops exploring natural skincare and daily rituals, plus generous time to switch off and reconnect with the surrounding landscape. Meals come in the form of mountain picnics and nourishing seasonal menus inspired by macrobiotic principles and Off Grid’s Km0 culinary approach.
Off Grid In Motion with Eat Sleep Cycle
Returning this autumn is Off Grid In Motion, the property’s signature cycling retreat in partnership with Girona-based Eat Sleep Cycle. Taking place 23–27 October 2026, with further departures on 13–17 May, 22–26 July and 8–12 October 2027, the four-night experience brings together cycling, local culture and a genuine sense of community.
Built around two parallel itineraries, the retreat offers an On Bike programme for intermediate cyclists and an Off Bike programme for non-cycling guests. While cyclists explore the quieter roads and challenging climbs of La Garrotxa, non-cycling guests experience the region through guided walks, local food traditions and cultural visits. Both groups come together each evening for communal dinners, wine tastings, yoga, recovery sessions and a relaxed programme of evening events.
From €1,900pp for cyclists and €1,400pp for non-cyclists, including four nights’ accommodation on a full board basis and all activities. Based on two sharing. Bike hire not included but can be arranged.
