This October, Hôtel Crillon le Brave welcomes photographer and cookbook author Chloé Crane-Leroux and her mother, co-author and ceramic artist Trudy Crane, for ‘A Taste of Provence’, an intimate four-night culinary retreat, the first experience of its kind at the hotel.

Together, Chloé and Trudy will lead two cooking workshops in L’Atelier du Tilleul, the hotel’s newly unveiled space dedicated to culinary experiences and gathering around the table. Chloé’s work, most recently captured in her book The Artful Way to Plant-Based Cooking, explores the connection between food, landscape and the everyday rituals that bring beauty to daily life, a philosophy that runs through the retreat programme.

Each morning will open with a yoga or meditation session, before guests join Chloé and Trudy to enjoy a curated selection of Provencal experiences.

From wandering through a local brocante in search of vintage finds and enjoying picnics among the vineyards to visiting an olive oil atelier and exploring markets for seasonal ingredients, the retreat offers the chance to discover Provence in an authentic way. Beyond the programme, guests have access to the hotel’s Spa des Écuries and can sample delicious dishes at La Table du Ventoux, where Chef Thomas Lesage celebrates the rich flavours of the region.

A Taste of Provence runs from 9th-13th October 2026 and is limited to eight participants. Rates start from €5,671 per person.
